I’m confused. Is this spring now – or are we in summer? Either way – there is a big, fat, long weekend upon us and that means that Farm Dog Cycles will kick off our second season in TWO SHORT DAYS! There are bikes to be tuned, books to be kept, desks to be cleaned

Is there a word for something to you simultaneously look forward to and dread? If there is any benefit to training on exclusively flat terrain, this is it. Well-Deserved
On the eve on American Thanksgiving, I’m thinking about taking a day off. I also have Fattoush on my mind as well as the two giant heads of cauliflower aging in my fridge that must be dealt with tonight. I’m hoping they can somehow be combined into a single dinner. I’m thinking a long weekend would be well-deserved,
last chance summer!
Kicking off the last official week of summer with a rainy day Monday. I’m making soup and dreading heading off to my office job next week. I’ll have to wear shoes – and PANTS – for the first time in months! There is LOTS going on in the next few weeks – on the bikes

BEE SWARM!
Happy May, everyone! Spring-time happenings are in full swing on the farm – and the Farm Dogs have been getting dirty planting and playing in the mud and even doing some cycling when the sun decides to cooperate. It’s cool and wet today, but the sun has been shining, and the bees having been busy
Building a Community
This weekend, 2 rusty Farm Dogs picked up their bikes, found the muddiest trails they could, a few friends, a proceeded to bash themselves back into racing shape. The Paris 2 Ancaster is Ontario’s amateur answer to Europe’s Pro Spring Classics. 60 km of grueling dirt, muck, sand, puddles, rail trail, potholes, washboarded country roads,
Human-Powered
Energy is big news these days. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, the wind turbines are here to stay in Essex County. I couldn’t help but notice them today – the only sign of white on a very brown February day. I’m going to (try to) remain politically neutral on my business blog. The only kind
